The powder coat finish is applied to the steel after a chemical cleaning, making adhesion superior to paint applied in the field.  This powder coat also protects against humidity and weathering.

The green fittings are easier to repaint than traditional plated hardware.  The paint acts as a primer for other finishes such as white, equipment grey or black.  Newly-finished fittings and channels can be used for color-coordinated track lighting, medical equipment supports and laboratory racks, space frame structures and awning structures.
